Radish Egg Dumplings Pot (蘿蔔肉蛋煲)

A heartwarming, nutritious soup perfect for the autumn.

Steps
- Marinate the minced pork with salt, sugar, soy sauce, cooking wine, and corn starch. Mix well

- Crack 5 eggs and make sure to beat them thoroughly

- In a small rectangular pan, layer a tablespoon of egg wash

- After the egg wash layer is slightly cooked, place a small portion of minced pork in the middle

- Flip the egg wash so that the minced pork is wrapped all sides

- Follow this video for clearer instructions

- Reserve for later

- Slice the radish into long strips as shown

- Prepare your vegetables like so

- In a clay pot, sear shallots, garlic and ginger until slightly browned

- Add in the radish and stir frying

- Add in boiling water to fully immerse the radish and let cook for 10 minutes with lid on. Place the prepared egg dumplings on top and let cook with lid open

- Lastly, add red chilli, celery, a little bit of white pepper and green onion. Once cooked, it’s ready to serve!
