- Firstly, add the instant yeast to warm water so the yeast is activated faster

- In a clean mixing bowl, add all dried ingredients first, followed by the water yeast mixture

- Mix until no more dried ingredients and a dough is formed. Cover with a lid and let the dough rest for 10 minutes before kneading it again

- While waiting, prepare the filling by mixing ingredients needed together. You should see a semi sticky/buttery consistency

- Once the dough is well rested, it should be kneaded to a smoother form much easier

- Transfer the dough into a rolling mat sprinkled with some dried flour

- Roll the dough into a thin rectangular shape

- Spread the black sesame filling onto the middle 1/3 of the dough evenly

- Fold the left side over the filling and seal the edges tightly

- Likewise, spread the filling onto the surface again

- And flip the right side and seal the edges

- Carefully roll out the dough into a rectangular shape once again, and repeat the above steps

- Spread fillings in the middle

- Then flip and spread fillings again

- Flip and seal edges

- Roll out

- This time, turn over the dough so the prettier side is facing time

- Start rolling down the dough tightly as shown

- I would suggest using floss for cutting the dough. Cut of the edge parts

- Cut the dough evenly into 10 small/8 larger pieces

- Place over warm water and let ferment for 40 minutes

- Once the fermentation is done, the dough should be 1.5 times bigger

- Bring a pot of water to a boil

- Let the buns steam for 15 minutes

- After that, turn off the heat and let the dough sit in the pot for another 3 minutes

- Once done, the steamed buns are ready to serve
