Scallion Seared Pork Belly
This dish is full of aromatic flavours of green onion, together with crispy pork belly
Ingredients
200 g
pork belly slices
5
green onions
2 tablespoons
soy sauce
1 tablespoon
oyster sauce
2 tablespoons
cooking wine
Pinch
of black pepper
Pinch
of salt
1 teaspoon
cornstarch
Steps
Start by prepping the green onions by separating the white stalk and greens
Cut them into short stalks and chopped finely respectively
Prepare the sauce by mixing all condiments together
Slice the pork belly in half (bite size)
In a heated pan, fry the pork belly until sizzling and flip side. Make sure both sides are charred slightly
Then stir fry together with the white stalk until softens
Pour in the sauce, and lower the heat. Add in the finely chopped green onions
Let everything well incorporate with lid on for 5 minutes on low heat
Lastly, serve and enjoy!
