Miso Salmon Bake

Crispy on the outside and tender within, this baked salmon is coated in a sweet-and-savoury miso glaze that caramelises beautifully in the oven—an elegant, delicate side dish with classic Japanese-inspired flavours. Ingredients

• 100 g salmon
  
• 1 tablespoon miso
  
• 1/2 tablespoon mirin
  
• 1/2 tablespoon cooking wine
  
• 1 teaspoon honey
  

Steps

1. Prepare the miso glaze by mixing miso, mirin, cooking wine and honey to a thick consistency
   
2. Rub and marinate to salmon thoroughly
   
3. Let marinate in fridge overnight or at least 4 hours
   
4. Preheat oven to 200°C for 5 minutes
   
5. Lay salmon on baking sheet and wipe off excess miso glaze. Bake in oven at 200°C for 10 minutes (if your salmon is cut in a larger size, bake for 12-15 minutes)
   
6. Serve as a side dish, enjoy!
