Short Ribs Spaghetti
A fusion spaghetti cooked with Asian condiments
Ingredients
Pasta of choice
250 g
short ribs
1
green onion (stalk only)
3
cloves garlic (sliced)
1 teaspoon
crushed chillies
Grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons
soy sauce
1 tablespoon
dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon
sugar
Pinch
of black pepper
Steps
Start by cooking your pasta according to instructions
Cut the short ribs into smaller pieces
Prepare green onion and garlic like so
Prepare the sauce by mixing all the condiments together
Start by frying green onion and garlic in heated oil for 2 minutes. Then add in crushed chillies and mix well
Add in short ribs and cook until both sides are slightly charred
Once the pasta is done, transfer into the frying pan and reserve pasta water
Stir fry pasta and short ribs, and add in the sauce and a bit (~10 mL) of pasta water. Keep mixing the pasta until the sauce is thickening up
Once the sauce is pretty much dried up, turn off the heat and serve.
Garnish the pasta with grated cheese. Enjoy!
