Sauerkraut Soup with Pork Ribs (東北酸菜排骨)

This sauerkraut pork ribs is a sour, fragrant and appetising home-cooked dish with the characteristics of tender meat, thick soup, sour and refreshing taste that can relieve greasiness. It is usually prepared by stewing, with a rich taste, nutrition and deliciousness.

- First, start with washing the ribs with some flour and salt. Rub thoroughly and soak in water for 15 minutes. Wash afterwards

- Once washed, blanch in cold water with cooking wine for about 10 minutes. Once done, rinse the ribs with warm water and reserve

- Drain the sauerkraut from package

- Prepare all the condiments like so

- In a wok, fry all condiments until aromatic

- Add in drained sauerkraut and keep on frying until it starts to dry up

- Add in blanched ribs and fry together

- Add in boiling water until everything is immersed

- Cook in medium heat for 1.5 hours

- Before serving, all salt and white pepper to your own preference as the sauerkraut is already salty

- Lastly, serve and enjoy!
