This dish will definitely make your kitchen smells heavenly with scallion and garlic. Worth a try!
Ingredients
2 pork shoulder
2 slices garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cooking wine
Pinch of black pepper
1 tablespoon corn starch
3 green onions (finely chopped)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon sesame seed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Steps
Start by using the back of the knife to flatten the pork shoulders
Add in all the seasonings under “marinate”, rub in pork shoulder until absorbed. Marinate for 2 hours
Prepare the sauce by mixing everything under “sauce”
In a lightly oiled pan, fry the marinated pork shoulders until charred
Rest it on chopping board for 5 minutes and slice it into strips. P.S. do not worry if it seems undercooked at this stage because it is going back to the pan again.
In the same pan, put back sliced pork shoulder and lay the sauce on. Cover with lid to let cook for further 5 minutes on medium low heat
