Abrus herb helps clearing heat, detoxifying and dispelling dampness.
Ingredients
120 g Abrus herb
500 g Arrowroot
2 Pieces Carrot
25 g Red bean
25 g White hyacinth bean
25 g Job’s tears
3 Pieces Date
2 peels Mandarin peel
1 kg Pork bones
Salt ( add to boiled soup to taste)
5 Litres Water
Steps
Wash Abris herb several times and soak for an hour
Wash dates, red beans, white hyacinth beans and Job’s tears. Then soak for an hour.
Arrowroot peeled and cut into pieces.
Wash Mandarin peel and soak for an hour
Carrot cut into pieces.
Pork bone put into pot with room temperature water and boil to remove scum. Then wash the bones with room temperature water.
Put soaked mandarin peels, carrots, soaked red beans, white hyacinth beans and Job’s tears into a pot of 5 litres water before turning on the heat.
Once boiled add in pork bone, arrowroot and abris herb and continue to cook for 30 minutes at high heat. Then turn to medium low heat and boil for another 1.5 hours.
Boiled soup pour into serving pot. Add salt to taste and serve.
