- Trim the nails off the chicken feet and put them in a pot of cold water with scallions, ginger, and cooking wine to remove any unpleasant smell. Once the water boils, skim off the foam. Boil the eggs in the pot until cooked, then peel and set aside.

- Place the ingredients in another pot, pour in boiling water to cover them, add Sichuan peppercorns, cinnamon, bay leaves, cardamom, black cardamom, scallions, ginger slices, garlic cloves, dried chili peppers, 5 rock sugar pieces, 2 grams of salt, 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of cooking wine. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes, adding the egg tofu halfway through.
