Korean Spicy Pork Stir Fry (Jeyuk Bokkeum)
Jeyuk Bokkeum is an easy Korean stir fry dish, with sweet and spicy gochujang.
Ingredients
200 g
pork belly slices
1/2
onion (sliced)
4
cloves garlic (sliced)
1 tablespoon
gochujang
1 tablespoon
soy sauce
1/2
tablespoon fish sauce
1/2
tablespoon cooking wine
1 teaspoon
honey
Steps
Start by cutting the pork belly slices into small pieces
Slice the onion and garlic like so
Prepare the sauce by mixing all the condiments, together with about 4 tablespoons of water
In a heated pan, grill the pork belly without oil and until slightly charred, remove from the pan and set aside
In the same pan, using the oil secreted from the pork belly, stir fry sliced onion and garlic until softens
Add in pork belly and stir fry together with the prepared sauce on low heat
Stir fry until everything well incorporated. Serve with rice and enjoy!
