Korean Spicy Pork Stir Fry (Jeyuk Bokkeum)

Smoky, lightly charred pork belly is tossed with soft onion and sliced garlic, then coated in a glossy, sweet-and-spicy gochujang sauce with soy sauce, fish sauce, cooking wine, and honey—perfect with a bowl of rice. Jeyuk Bokkeum is an easy Korean stir fry dish, with sweet and spicy gochujang.

- Start by cutting the pork belly slices into small pieces

- Slice the onion and garlic like so

- Prepare the sauce by mixing all the condiments, together with about 4 tablespoons of water

- In a heated pan, grill the pork belly without oil and until slightly charred, remove from the pan and set aside

- In the same pan, using the oil secreted from the pork belly, stir fry sliced onion and garlic until softens

- Add in pork belly and stir fry together with the prepared sauce on low heat

- Stir fry until everything well incorporated. Serve with rice and enjoy!
