  2. Discard pea soaking water. Put soaked peas in half litre boiling water and boil for 25-30 minutes with lid ajar to prevent spilling.

  3. Drain water from the cooked peas. ( don’t waste, drink this protein rich yellowish water.)

  4. Mix 400ml milk, 400ml coconut milk & 100g cornstarch together.

  6. Boil water and sugar until sugar dissolved

  7. Gradually add milk mixture to the boiling sugar water and keep stirring to prevent browning & sticking onto the sauce pan

  8. When the milky mixture thickened add split peas & keep stirring for another 3 minutes

  10. Pour mixture into the cooled container & cool at room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
