Quick and easy to make tomato sauce stewed with egg and tofu

My kids love this! The sweet and sour taste is very appetizing, and you can't stop eating it. It can be eaten with rice, and you can eat several bowls. It is a perfect accompaniment to rice. Even a novice in the kitchen can make it, and the kids will definitely lick the plate clean!
Ingredients
- 3 pieces of egg tofu

- 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce (about 40g)

- 1 spoon of starch (about 10g)

- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (about 15g)

- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (about 10g)

- 2 tablespoons of sugar (about 25g)

- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar (about 25g)

- water (100-150ml )

Steps
- Cut each strip of tamagoyaki in the middle of the package, remove it, cut it into 4 pieces and set aside.

- Take an appropriate amount of starch and put the cut tofu cubes in, making sure each piece is evenly coated with starch so that it will not break easily when frying.

- Wash and chop shallots, separate the white and green parts of the shallots (the white parts are used for sautéing, and the green parts are used for garnishing).

- To prepare the tomato sauce, add 3 spoons of tomato sauce, 1 spoon of soy sauce, 1 spoon of oyster sauce, 1 spoon of starch, 2 spoons of white vinegar, and 2 spoons of white sugar into a bowl. Pour in 100-150ml of drinking water, stir well, and the sauce is ready.

- Pour 1 tablespoon of cooking oil into a hot pan and heat over low heat. When the oil is hot, add the tofu cubes coated with starch and fry over low heat. Do not stir frequently until the surface is golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

- Stir-fry and simmer: Put 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot, add the scallion and stir-fry on low heat until fragrant, then pour in the prepared sauce and cook on medium-low heat until the sauce bubbles slightly and becomes thicker.

- Put the fried tofu in, turn it over gently to coat it with the sauce, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Turn off the heat, place the tofu and the sauce on a plate, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and the sweet and sour tender tofu with egg in tomato sauce is ready.
