Origin of the Name: "Typhoon Shelter" originally referred to the harbors in Hong Kong where ships sought shelter from typhoons. Local fishermen spread the method of stir-frying seafood with garlic, fermented black beans, and other seasonings, gradually developing this classic dish.
Ingredients
- 700g shrimp

- 120g of typhoon shelter ingredients

- half an onion

- 100g red chili peppers

- Three green onions

- Salt intake

- 1 tablespoon of cooking wine

- Six tablespoons of cornstarch

- One teaspoon of pepper

- 3 tablespoons of oil

Steps
- Clean the shrimp.

- Chop the onion into small pieces.

- Chop the scallions into small pieces or sections.

- Small chili peppers

- Preparing the shrimp: Trim the shrimp whiskers and rostrum, devein the shrimp by cutting along the back.

- Prepare the shrimp, add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, ginger, scallions, a little salt, and cornstarch, mix well, and marinate for 10 minutes. Then remove the ginger and scallions.

- Coat the marinated shrimp with cornstarch evenly and prepare to cook.

- Fried Shrimp: Heat oil in a pan, add the marinated shrimp, and fry on both sides until the shells are golden brown and crispy.

- Remove and drain the oil.

- Leave a little oil in the pan, add onions and red peppers and sauté until fragrant.

- Add Typhoon Shelter-style stir-fry seasoning, stir-fry quickly over low heat for a couple of seconds.

- Add the shrimp and stir-fry quickly for 1 minute, then sprinkle with chopped green onions.
