Healthy burgers and sweet potatoes chips for cutting
Craving a satisfying meal while staying on track with your cut? This recipe brings you juicy, protein-packed healthy burgers paired with crispy air-fried sweet potato chips — all made with whole ingredients and minimal oil.
Ingredients
Chicken mince (Use ~80grams of chicken mince for one patty )
Red onion
Tomato
Lettuce
Buns
Sweet potatoes
Shredded cheese (light)
Greek yogurt (light)
Heinz Ketchup (low sugar)
Mustard
Honey (optional)
Cajun powder (optional)
Paprika (optional)
Steps
Slice the sweet potatoes and soak them in cold water for ~20 mins to remove excess starch
Cut up some tomato slices
Cut up some onion slices
Burger sauce & dipping sauce: Mix Greek yogurt, ketchup, mustard and honey (optional) together
Dry the sweet potatoes slices with paper towels. Then add seasoning (salt, pepper, paprika, Cajun powder) and oil. Mix thoroughly in a bowl before placing in the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 mins
Pan fry the patties while caramelising the onions
Set aside the onions once it’s done
Toast your buns before putting the sauce on top
