Chinese yam meat pie with egg

The white soft-boiled egg, with green chopped green onion and bright red wolfberry, and the golden soup make people very appetizing. The yam makes the meat pie more glutinous, the soft-boiled egg is runny and tender, and the sweet soup wraps the original flavor of the ingredients. This dish is nutritionally balanced and is especially suitable for people who need a balanced diet (such as children and the elderly).
Ingredients
- Minced pork (300g)

- Chinese yam or water chestnut (150g)

- Eggs (1)

- starch (15g)

- salt (5g)

- sugar (10g, if you put water chestnuts, reduce 5g)

- oyster sauce (15g)

- Light Soy Sauce (10g)

- Wolfberry (a few)

- chopped green onion (a little)

- 1 gram white pepper

Steps
- Peel and clean the Chinese yam, cut into small pieces, chop with a knife and set aside (wear gloves when doing this, otherwise your hands will itch, don’t ask me how I know 😂).

- Put the minced pork in a bowl, add salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, starch and white pepper powder and mix well until it becomes sticky.

- Add Chinese yam and continue to stir well.

- Spread the minced meat on a plate and use a spoon to make a small hole in the middle. Steam for 5 minutes until it is set, then beat in an egg.

- Steam over medium-high heat for 15 minutes until the meat patties are cooked through and the eggs are set. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and wolfberries.
