  6. When the white sesame turns brown combined with cracking sound, it indicates it is done. Turn off the heat.

  9. Wash and soak 50g of black rice for 20-30 minutes

  10. Blend 150g of fried sesame and 50g of soaked black rice in 1.5 litres water. Blender set to soya milk mode (mine is 6 minutes)

  11. Dissolve 70g sugar in 200ml boiling water.

  14. Pour the blended sesame water to a pot and boil at medium heat. Stir continuously to prevent sticking in the bottom.

  15. When the pastes thicken turn to low heat to prevent spilling.

  16. It takes another 5 minutes to boil. Add sugar water and stir. Done and turn off heat.
